Camp Okavango is what is called a "wet camp." Essentially, this means that it is a camp that is surrounded by water for the most part. It is also an excellent opportunity to see wildlife that likes to hang out mostly in water. Guides take you out on regular boats as well as mokoros, traditional Botswanian flat bottomed canoes, which get you super close to the water.





When you are so close to the water level as well as the reeds, you have a chance to get a great view of the beautiful water lilies as well as the incredibly small frogs (roughly the length of my fingernail) that live on individual reeds:
