The following conversation happened while attending an Young Seattle Opera goers mixer after a guy vaguely familiar introduced himself to the group I was standing with:

Guy: Hi, I'm Nathan.

Me: Hey, I know you.

Nathan: I'm sure we have met somewhere, this is Seattle.

Me: You work for a website, don't you?

Nathan: Actually, an online news source.

Me: And you have a girlfriend... Barbie, right?

Nathan: Ex girlfriend. Dating Mercedes now.



Seriously?

I had to excuse myself to go to the bar. I just couldn't contain the giggles.
