My final stop in CA was Lake Tahoe. I'd never been there, even in winter for a ski. I'll admit, after Yosemite, anything would be a let down. But once the skies cleared a little, and I could actually SEE the lake and the surrounding mountains, I could totally understand why people live there. It is a year around playground for adults. Totally awesome.
