First though, was a trip to the Olympic Rings in the village:

The Sliding Center was incredibly impressive. Spectators are allowed to wander around the entire track. Very little of it is inaccessible to the public. I was quite excited about how close I was able to get to the action. Being close to the action, however, doesn't guarantee that you will actually SEE it. Skeleton participants go by you at about 80 miles an hour. You blink and you miss them. Getting them on film was a challenge.

This is my favorite photo - probably from the entire week - it is of a skeleton participant crossing the finish line.
